ghd Social Media Beginnings

A few months ago I locked myself in a room for a week; researching, strategising and ended up presenting to ghd a complete overhaul of their on-site brand content strategy and a plan for how to use social media platforms to their advantage.
After a slow start, we now have a beginning by completing the first stage – Creating a presence on the chosen platforms, MySpace, Facebook & YouTube (Twitter is in the pipeline too).
Further stages obviously focus on content and content generation, but the first step has been made.
There is still a long time to go and a lot of hard work re-structuring the some of the back-end of the global site to fully implement the plan, but fingers crossed it goes smoothly and the complete vision comes to fruition.
