ghd See The Light Mobile bumper

ghd’s new brand advertising is called ‘See The Light’. The above-the-line creative work has been presented and approved, and not too long ago I was ‘nose to the grindstone’ fleshing out how this activity can live and breathe online.

There are a lot of big ideas, nice ideas, and nice little nuggets that came out of this and that will be presented, but as part of the proposal centering around mobile content I created little branded ‘bumpers’ to be delivered as part of the video content delivered to compatible mobile phones.

This is a ‘tiddler’ in the scheme of things but I quite enjoyed being the first to visually represent the brand line as motion graphics animation. Later, when the advertising went to TV, although a little more subtle, the idea was retained and looked very nice.
