TBWA\ Manchester Intranet

TBWA\ Manchester Intranet

As TBWA\ Manchester comprises of multiple companies across more than one site we, as a team were charged to create an intranet with an open brief of content, reasoning, strategy and branding.

I lead most facets of this brief and as a team we ultimately decided upon humanizing the intranet by calling it Boogle. The design was kept minimal and deliberately neutral to avoid bias to one company over the other. This said, the design focused upon strong grid systems, typography, heirarchy and usability resulting in a strong, but accommodating style.

The intrnet has gone through a closed testing phase and has been launched to seemingly great success. It has become a staple tool of the business. It Facilitates personal connections as well as business objectives and continues to flourish. I believe this is because the content is kept to what is required and not bursting at the seams with features that would not be overly used. This, coupled with Facebook-style humanistic aspects of profiles and inter-personal relationships designed to portray a rounded picture of employees means the tool is fit-for-purpose.

A hugely enjoyable project in every way. The next phase of additions and improvement is already being specified and there’s more fun ahead.
