Samorost

Samorost1

Samorost is a lovely, rich, slightly abstract but beautiful online game. The game has been out for quite a while, but I have recently played (and completed) the first instalment, which left me hungry for more…

Cue Samorost 2. Unfortunately for me, the creators have realised that the first installment was very playable and intriguing. As such, they are charging a modest $6.90 (about £3.10) to play the second. This being said, I think my budget can stretch to this and i’m going to embark on my micro journey some time today. I’ll report back on my progress as it happens.

Samorost2UPDATE: Well, both Steve (work pal) and I have completed Samarost 2. It took about 40 minutes or so, but I think for £4.00 with VAT (less than you would spend on a couple of goes on an arcade) the game was charming, fun and definitely nearly stumped us a few times. If you’re undecided about paying for it yourself, I would recommend it.

I look forward to the next release from the makers.

My Scrapblog

My Scrapblog

We’ve just added a post to our Digerati\ work blog about www.scrapblog.com.

Scrapblog is a nice photo-tool which lets you create scrap-book-type albums out of uploaded photos or photos from photo album site like Flickr. I like this as it allows you to add some personality to an event or contextual set of images which takes the online photo album concept another step further. Plus it’s really easy to use, which is always a bonus.

Have a look at my first Scrapblog attempt.

Comments

Sorry all. I wasn’t aware that my comments input form wasn’t working correctly. The bugs are ironed out now, and you can give me some talk-back whenever you like.

Sorry again.
