OK – further to Patchies request/order, here are the three albums that changed my life (although in truth there are a few more)
Guns N’ Roses – Appetite For Destruction.
This band were my idols, they inspired Ben and I to form a band in the first place. In fact this band were my musical world for about 2-3 years until:
Metallica – Master of Puppets.
Metallica released the black album which introduced them to me but when I bought this as my second album they became my my new gods and stayed that way for about 3 years until:
Korn – Korn
Korn then held the ‘favourite’ torch for me then until the present day really. This band changed the way I thought about riffs when this album came out. I think when I really listen to the guitars that I write I like to think I can hear a bit of all three of these bands (as well as many others). Without these bands in my life I definately would not be the person I am today.
