what a gorgeous day again!
Still no news about my new pickup and quite frankly i’m losing patience. I was sad to hear that Dudley Moore has died, oh well he can still make me laugh even though i’ve seen some of his film numerous times.
on a different note my news item of the day is as follows:
Wired magazine reported in March that two German designers have invented a computer game with hand sensors allowing the administration of shocks and burns to opponents, with the winner being the player who can stand it longer. Painstation (not affiliated with Sony) is based on the old game Pong, and if a player misses the ball, it will hit randomly arranged Pain Inflictor Symbols (heat, jolts, shocks of varying degrees). The game ends when one player lifts his hand off the Pain Endurance Unit.
Tomorrow i’m up agin for work – OH NO IM NOT!!! hello lie in, red dwarf and whatever else takes my fancy! I bet you the weather is shit though.

the day started so well today. I woke up feeling boss after a good (in a nearly killed me off type of way) train last night. Then i find the sun is absolutely beaming.
Then i get into work and given the shittest stuff to do while staring out of the window at the day outside! I tell ya, the quicker we get a better record deal the better so i can ditch this dive and start enjoying more of my days!!!!

i’m pissed off today because my new pickup still hasn’t arived for my guitar! This will be the third week of waiting and it’s just not good enough.
I am also back to training today. my ankle still is not better after two weeks of ‘resting it’ but i figure its going to take a whil to get any better than it is now so…
We’re back in Ireland doing a gig in April which has something to do with MTV? But im more looking forward to us showing off our new sound (guitars). Should be fun anyway.
my words of the day are ‘nugget’ and ‘whopper’ because they made me laugh alot last night.

ok – verdicts from the gig last night.
Support band ‘FOE’. – err. my first thought was, this is not what I was expecting but it wa a refreshing change. an instrumental rock fusion with jazz. if nothing else i’ll remember it! hehe
Main band “DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN’. – Two words; heavy and loud! Shit, these were both and in abundance. Also not what i was expecting, but for those of you who want a truly heavy band with some interesting melodies, or you just want to fuck shit up like you never have before, this band is for you. (plus if you’re lucky the band will join in with you! hehe. Not my cup of tea i think but i was definately impressed with their weight. The guitarists were using ESP guitars with active EMG pickups through mesa boogie dual rectifier amps, and i must say… they sounded fucking huge!! Big up to Dillinger.

xPatchiex and I watched one of my nearly-forgotten childhood movies on Wednesday… American Ninja. Thus confirming that even then I had the same splendid taste in movies that I thank the dark lord for every day.

I am glad to say that the party xPatchiex has been mentioning was indeed a corker (alcohol wise) and i confirm i did fall on my housemates (dianne) head without her noticing!
I did in fact proclaim that everyone in the middle of the night was not in fact trying to sleep, but sucking cock!
I did say that if any scallies (or as i referred to them – nipples!) tried anything while we were walking across the park i would nibble my way through them all.
I am in fear of the next time i pass through an ultra violet light that i will have a pentogram on my hand and an inverted crucifix on my forehead!
I was dancing my arse off to music i cannot remember in the centre of a room full of scallies.
All of this fun and much more which has illuded my memory is thanks to a kind donation from Mr Jack Daniels of a full bottle of his finest sour mash whiskey!

And a McFarlane Spawn series Huge fucking Dragon which i couldn’t in sound mind have left the shop without owning!
